What do horror movies teach us about society's fears?
In our latest offering in a year-long series of studios and workshops, WIHS explores the horror genre while teaching participants how to film and edit their own film shorts. In The Scare Flick Project, students will critically view clips from popular horror movies, analyzing the roles, representation and themes to take a deeper look into what they reveal about the fears of society. Through their analysis, students will also remix a flip clip of their choosing, playing with techniques to tell their own story.
Limited seats at The Scare Flick Project are still available! Interested students can sign up at https://bit.ly/WIHSFILM. The Scare Flick Project runs Oct. 19-30th, from 4-5PM.
